What it is used for: Eye Infection.

How it works: The fluorometholone/tetrahydrozoline fixed combination consists of a less potent corticosteroid and a decongestant. Fluorometholone helps to relieve inflammation. Tetrahydrozoline , a direct acting sympathomimetic or nonselective alpha adrenergic agonist, constricts dilated conjunctival vessels.

Active ingredient: Fluorometholone , Tetrahydrazoline HCl.

Reported side effects: Rise in intra-ocular pressure , corneal thinning , cataract , fungal infection.

Known drug interactions: Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Adults & Children : Over 2 yr , 1 or 2 drops two to four times daily OR As directed by your physician.

If you experience eye pain, headaches, changes in vision, persistent redness or irritation of your eyes, or if your condition worsens or does not improve within 3 days, stop using this medication and consult a doctor.
You may experience blurred vision after using this medication. Do not drive or use any machines unless your vision is clear.
Do not use the drops while wearing contact lenses. Wait at least 15 minutes after use before putting your lenses back in. There is a preservative in this drops (benzalkonium chloride) that can cause eye irritation and is also know to discolour soft contact lenses.
Sit or lie down to instill . Open eye , tilt head back , look at ceiling , instill solution into the eye . Do not blink for 30 seconds.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.
