Joint & Bone Pain
Support the joint, manage the pain, and protect your bone density.
Joint pain has very different causes at 30 and at 60. What they share is that movement helps more than rest. Complete rest weakens the muscle that supports the joint and pain usually gets worse over weeks.
For day-to-day management: an anti-inflammatory taken with food for flare-ups, a support or brace during activity, and adequate calcium and vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency is very common in Pakistan and causes a diffuse bone ache that people often mistake for arthritis.
When to see a doctor
See a doctor if a joint is hot, swollen and red, if pain follows a fall, if morning stiffness lasts over an hour, or if you need anti-inflammatories most days.
