What this covers

This policy explains what we collect when you use hopepharmacy.pk, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. Health information is sensitive, and we treat prescriptions with more care than an ordinary retailer treats an order.

What we collect

You give us: your name, phone number, email address and delivery address; your order contents; prescriptions you upload; and anything you write in a message or an order note.

We collect automatically: pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.

We store on your device: your cart, wishlist, chosen delivery city and recently viewed products, held in your browser's local storage rather than on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Why we use it

• To take, verify, dispense and deliver your order
• To let a pharmacist call you about a prescription or an interaction
• To handle returns, refunds and complaints
• To meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed pharmacy
• To send the monthly newsletter, if you asked for it

We do not sell your data. We do not share your prescription information with any third party for marketing, ever.

Who sees your prescription

Only the registered pharmacist reviewing and dispensing your order, and staff involved in delivering it. Prescriptions are stored securely for the period we are legally required to retain dispensing records.

Who we share with

• Delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver
• Payment processors — the transaction amount and reference; they handle card details directly and we never see them
• Regulators — where we are legally required to produce dispensing records

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete your account data, or stop marketing emails. Write to care@hopepharmacy.pk.

Deletion requests are honoured except where a record must be retained by law — dispensing records for prescription medicines are the main example.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to prescription records is limited to staff who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you.

Children

This site is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Parents may of course order for their children.
