A syrup containing Iron (III) hydroxide polymaltose complex, indicated for Anaemia.
250ml Shampoo
In stock at selected branches
Total for 1 pack: Rs. 1,655
What it is used for: Anaemia.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: Prevention and treatment of all kinds of iron deficiencies particularly iron deficiency anaemia
How it works: The central actions of benzodiazepines are mediated through an enhancement of the GABAergic neurotransmission at inhibitory synapeses. In the presence of benzodiazepines, the affinity of the GABA receptor for the neurotransmitter is enhanced through positive allosteric modulation resulting in an increased action of released GABA on the postsynaptic transmembrance chloride ion flux.
Active ingredient: Iron (III) hydroxide polymaltose complex.
Reported side effects: Occasionally gastro-intestinal irritations such as sensation of repletion, pressure in the epigastric region, nausea, constipation or diarrhoea can occur. A dark coloration of the stool is of no clinical significance.
Known drug interactions: Until now interactions have not been observed. Since the iron is complex-bound, ionic interactions with food stuff (phenytin, oxalates, tannin, etc.) and concomitant administration of medicament (tetracycline, antacids) are unlikely to occur. IPC does not cause teeth staining. The haemoccult-test (selective for haemoglobin) for the detection of occult blood is not impaired & therefore iron therapy must not be interrupted.
Dose : Adults - 20-30ml daily. Children : Infants upto 1 yr, 0.5-1ml drop or 2.5-5ml syp daily ; 1-12yr, 1-2ml drop or 5-10ml syp daily ; Above 12yr , same as adult. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist for dose adjustments.

Product is fine and authentic. Delivery took a day longer than the slot I picked.
Exactly what my doctor prescribed. The pharmacist called to confirm the strength before dispatch, which I appreciated.
Second time ordering. Batch and expiry were printed clearly and matched what the site listed.

Rider was on time and the item was properly bubble-wrapped. No complaints.
Does the job, though the pack is smaller than I expected — worth checking the size before ordering.
No issues with the item itself. I would have liked a cold pack for the summer heat.
