Reported side effects: Adverse reactions have been reported with specific vitamins and minerals, but generally at doses substantially higher than those in Renavit. However, allergic and idiosyncratic reactions are possible at any dose. Skin ailments, gastrointestinal complaints, severe dizziness, trouble breathing or flushing may occur. These effects are usually temporary and may disappear as your body adjusts to this product. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Known drug interactions: High doses of Renavit may result in decreased serum levels of anticonvulsant drugs: carbamazepine, fosphenytoin, phenytoin, phenobarbital, valproic acid. Renavit may decrease a patient’s response to Methotrexate, Doxycycline, Mycophenolate, penicillamine, or thyroid hormones (levothyroxine).
