What it is used for: Pain Relief.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: For relief of the signs and symptoms of Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis. For acute or long-term use in the relief of signs and symptoms of Ankylosing Spondylitis . Also indicated for controlling pain and inflammation in Acute Gout and minor surgery. It is also indicated for Chronic Juvenile Arthritis
How it works: Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. When you apply diclofenac gel, plasters or patches to your skin, it works in the same way as when you take it as a tablet or capsule.
Active ingredient: Diclofenac diethylamonium salt.

- Use is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to diclofenac .
- It should not be applied to open wounds.
- Contact with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided.
- External heat and/or occlusive dressings should not be applied to treated joints.
- Showering/bathing should be avoided for at least 1 hour after the application .
Store this medicine at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.
