What it is used for: Piles.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: Persistent haemorrhoids complaints, acute or ulcerous eczemas, itching and painful cracks and chaps (rhagades and fissures) in the anal region.
How it works: Hydrocortisone belongs to a group of medicines known as corticosteroids. This medicine shows effectiveness by reducing the redness, itching, and swelling of the anal region. Phenol is a hardening (sclerosing) agent with pain killing properties. The effects of the E.coli bacterial culture suspension (BCS) as a therapeutic means eliciting decreased exudation during inflammation, wound healing, tissue regeneration, and stimulated immunity.
Active ingredient: Bacterial Culture Suspension, Hydrocortisone.
Reported side effects: Hair bumps, Stinging, Burning, Redness, Skin thinning, Dryness, Stretch marks, Irritation, Anal bleeding in some cases.
