What it is used for: Blood Cell Deficiecy.

Indications as listed by the manufacturer: This dietary supplement is indicated for the treatment or prevention of anemia (low blood count) that is associated with folate deficiency.

How it works: L-Methylfolate is a cofactor in the production of monoamines serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which are involved in the regulation of mood and the mechanisms of actions of antidepressants. Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP) is the cofactor involved in the stabilization of carbanions at Ca of amino acids and plays a key role in amino acid metabolism. It works by functioning in the production of a compound called myelin, which covers and protect nerve fibers. Methylcobalamin rejuvenates the damaged neuron.

Active ingredient: L-Methylfolate , Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate, Methylcobalamin.

Reported side effects: A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), dizziness, trouble breathing.

Known drug interactions: Ask your physician or pharmacist in case of any drug interactions.

Adults : 1 capsule/tablet per oral twice daily or 2 capsules/tablets per day. Children : Not recommended OR As directed by your physician.
