What it is used for: Anemia.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: Ferric Carboxymaltose Injection is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in adult patients who have intolerance to oral iron or have had unsatisfactory response to oral iron & who have non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease.
How it works: Ferric Carboxymaltose is a colloidal iron (III) hydroxide in complex with carboxymaltose, a carbohydrate polymer that releases iron.
Active ingredient: Ferric Carboxymaltose.
Reported side effects: Common: Nausea, dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances, headache, injection site reactions, rash, hypophosphatemia, hypertension. Uncommon: Anaphylaxis, arthralgia, back pain, chest pain, fatigue, flushing, hypotension, malaise, tachycardia, myalgia, paraesthesia, dysgeusia, peripheral oedema, chills, pruritus, pyrexia, rigors, urticaria. Fine quality, wrong choice on my part — I should have asked the pharmacist first about the strength.
Second time ordering. Batch and expiry were printed clearly and matched what the site listed.

The product is genuine but did not suit me personally. Customer service handled the return without any argument.

Exactly what my doctor prescribed. The pharmacist called to confirm the strength before dispatch, which I appreciated.
Does the job, though the pack is smaller than I expected — worth checking the size before ordering.
Product is fine and authentic. Delivery took a day longer than the slot I picked.
