What it is used for: Eye Infection.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: It is used to treat bacterial eye infection.
How it works: It works by killing some types of bacteria that can cause infections.
Active ingredient: Levofloxacin.
Reported side effects: Swelling and tightness in the throat , breathing difficulties , burning feeling in the eye , decreased vision or mucus in the eye , stinging or irritation of the eyes , painful eyes , dry or sore eyes , swelling or redness (bloodshot eyes) of the conjunctiva (front covering of the eye) or eyelid , sensitivity to light , itchy eyes , sticky eyelids , headache , rash around the eye , stuffed or runny nose.
Known drug interactions: If you are using other eye drops, you should wait at least 15 minutes between applying Levofloxacin Eye Drops and any other type of eye drop. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for drug interactions.

Adults & Children : 1-2 drops in affected eye every 2 hr upto eight times daily while you are awake for first 2 days , then four times daily on Day 3 to 5. Not recommended for children under 1 yr. Always ask your doctor or pharmacist for dose adjustment.
Active ingredient: Levofloxacin. Labelled strength: 1.5%.
- Do not use Levofloxacin Eye Drops: If you are allergic to levofloxacin or other quinolones or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- If an allergic reaction occurs even after a single dose, stop using the medicine.
- If you are using other eye drops, you should wait at least 15 minutes between applying Levofloxacin Eye Drops and any other type of eye drop.
- If the eye drops cause blurring of your sight when you use them, you should wait until this clears before driving or operating machinery.
- You should remove contact lenses before using this medicine and put them back 15 minutes afterwards.
Store this medicine at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.
