What it is used for: Fever & Cough.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: This medicine is used to help provide night time relief of dry, irritating cough.
How it works: Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that helps relieve coughing and dry secretions in the nose and chest, dextromethorphan which is an antitussive to help stop coughing .
Active ingredient: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide , Diphenhydramine hydrochloride.
Reported side effects: Dependence and addiction, Dizziness or headache , Difficulty performing tasks, Blurred vision, Thickened mucus or dry mouth, Upset stomach, Unusual weakness.
Known drug interactions: This product should not be used with the following medications because very serious (rarely fatal) interactions may occur: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine), sibutramine.

Adults : 5-10ml three times daily . Children : 2.5-5ml three times daily . OR As directed by your physician .
Active ingredient: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide , Diphenhydramine hydrochloride.
- Respiratory depression, severe hypertension, gastric ulcer, glaucoma and prostatic hypertrophy with the formation of residual urine. Hypersensitivity to some of the components.
- Avoid taking MAO inhibitors within 2 weeks of starting or stopping this medication.
- Avoid taking this medicines with other antihistamines, sedatives, hypnotics and antipsychotics.
- Avoid driving a car or operate machninery as this medicine may induce sleepiness.
- May cause hallucinations, confusion, agitation, overactive reflexes, shivering, twitching of muscles and rapid heart rate.
Store this medicine at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.
