What it is used for: Pain & Fever Relief.

Indications as listed by the manufacturer: This medicine is used to treat mild to moderate pain, and prevent secondary thrombotic cerebrovascular (formation of a clot or other blockage in one of the blood vessels of the brain) or cardiovascular disease (damage to blood vessels supplying the heart) following surgery. It is also used in the treatment of COVID-19.

How it works: It is used to reduce the risk of a heart attack or stroke in patients who have a history of heart disease or stroke associated symptoms. This medicine works by preventing the formation of clots in the blood vessels. This medicine helps by making blood flow smoothly throughout the heart. It is also is used to reduce fever and mild to moderate pain from a headache, menstrual periods, cold, toothache, or muscle ache.

Active ingredient: Aspirin.

Reported side effects: Bronchospsm , GI upset , allergic reactions , GI and other haemorrhage. Tinnitus , vertigo , confusion , increased bleeding.

Known drug interactions: Oral anticoagulants , Heparin , antiplatelet agents , fibrinolytics , NSAIDS , uricosuric agents , methotraxate , SSRIs , vanlafaxine , corticosteroids , acetazolamide , tacrolimus , antihypertensives.

For Stroke - Adults : 50-325mg once daily , Pain - For Chidren & Adults : Above 12yrs , 325-1000mg every 4-6 hr as needed. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. For oral use.
