What it is used for: Glaucoma.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: Ocular hypertension or open angle glaucoma insufficiently responsive to beta blockers or prostaglandin analogues alone .
How it works: It works by increasing the outflow of liquid, which lowers the pressure in the eye. It may be used on its own or with other drops e.g. beta-blockers, which also reduce pressure.
Active ingredient: Travoprost , Timolol.
Reported side effects: Ocular hyperaemia , pain and irritation , photophobia , visual disturbances , nervousness , dizziness , headache , changes in BP and heart rate , bronchospasms , rash , eye lash growth , darkening of periorbital skin and eyelids .
Known drug interactions: Calcium channel blockers , guanethidine , B-Blockers , anti-arrhythmics , digitalis glycosides , parasympathomimetics , clonidine .

Adults: 1 drop in the eye or eyes, once a day – in the evening . Children : Not recommended or as directed by your physician.
Active ingredient: Travoprost , Timolol.
- Do not use if you are allergic to prostaglandins or any of the other ingredients ; If you are pregnant, or might get pregnant.
- Avoid touching tip of applicator with eye .
- Do not share medication with anyone else .
- You may find that your vision is blurred for a time just after you use . Do not drive or use machines until this has worn off.
- If you wear soft contact lenses. Don’t use the drops with your lenses in. Wait 15 minutes after using the drops before putting your lenses back in. A preservative benzalkonium chloride can discolour soft lenses.
Store this medicine at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.
