How it works: Citicoline is a medicine with neuroprotective effects (protects the nerve). Hence, It is used in the treatment of brain stroke (damage to your brain due to improper blood supply), memory loss, and movement disorders associated with ageing. It works by preventing the damage to your nerve cells and nourishing them back to health again.

Adults : Usually 1000mg-2000mg daily IM or slow IV infusion ( infusion rate 40-60 drops/min ) , for four consecutive wk . Can be administered orally. Children : Not recommended. OR As directed by your physician.
