What it is used for: Schizophrenia.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: It (risperidone) is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia.
How it works: The mechanism of action of risperidone in schizophrenia is unclear. The drug’s therapeutic activity in schizophrenia could be mediated through a combination of dopamine Type 2 (D2) and serotonin Type 2 (5HT2) receptor antagonism. The clinical effect from risperidone results from the combined concentrations of risperidone and its major metabolite, 9-hydroxyrisperidone (paliperidone). Antagonism at receptors other than D2 and 5HT2 may explain some of the other effects of risperidone.

Product is fine and authentic. Delivery took a day longer than the slot I picked.
Genuine product, sealed and well within expiry. Delivery reached Lahore the next day.
The product is genuine but did not suit me personally. Customer service handled the return without any argument.
Exactly what my doctor prescribed. The pharmacist called to confirm the strength before dispatch, which I appreciated.
Effective, but it took closer to two months than the four weeks I was hoping for.
