What it is used for: Anesthesia.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: Flumazenil Injection is indicated for the complete or partial reversal of the central sedative effects of benzodiazepines. It may therefore be used in anesthesia and intensive care in the following situations: • Termination of general anesthesia induced and/or maintained with benzodiazepines. • Reversal of benzodiazepine sedation in short diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. • For the diagnosis and/or as an adjunct to supportive measures used for management of deliberate or accidental benzodiazepine overdosage
How it works: Flumazenil, an imidazobenzodiazepine derivative, antagonizes the actions of benzodiazepines on the central nervous system. Flumazenil competitively inhibits the activity at the benzodiazepine recognition site on the GABA/benzodiazepine receptor complex. Flumazenil is a weak partial agonist in some animal models of activity, but has little or no agonist activity in man. Flumazenil does not antagonize the central nervous system effects of drugs affecting GABA-ergic neurons by means other than the benzodiazepine receptor (including ethanol, barbiturates, or general anesthetics) and does not reverse the effects of opioids.
Active ingredient: Flumazenil.
Reported side effects: Vertigo (spinning sensation), headache, agitation, tremor , diplopia (double vision), strabismus (squinting), lacrimation (weeping eye) , hypotension (low blood pressure), orthostatic hypotension (dizziness on standing), nausea (feeling sick) (after operation), vomiting (after operation, particularly if opiates have been used) , sweating , fatigue, injection site pain , anxiety, fear , palpitations (irregular heartbeats), tachycardia or bradycardia (fast or slow heart rate), extrasystole (a premature contraction of the heart) , dyspnoea (breathlessness), cough, nasal congestion .
Known drug interactions: Zopiclone (a type of sleeping pill) , triazolopyridazine , amitriptyline, imipramine or dosulepine .
Adults : The dose depends on the situation and is between 0.2 mg and 2 mg. The usual starting dose for adults is 0.2 mg administered intravenously over 15 seconds. If the required level of consciousness is not obtained within 60 seconds, a further dose of 0.1 mg can be injected and repeated at 60-second intervals to a maximum of 1 mg during anaesthesia and 2 mg in intensive care. If you have a liver disorder your doctor may chose to adjust the dosing . Children : In children (above 1 year of age), the dose is 10 micrograms/kg (body weight) to a maximum of 50 micrograms/kg. The dose in children may never exceed 1 mg . OR As directed by your physician.
Active ingredient: Flumazenil. Labelled strength: 1mg/10ml.

Works as expected. Took about three weeks to notice a difference, which the product page had already told me to expect.
Genuine product, sealed and well within expiry. Delivery reached Rawalpindi the next day.
Fine quality, wrong choice on my part — I should have asked the pharmacist first about the strength.
Been using this for a few months now. Ordering here is cheaper than my local shop and the packing is always careful.
Genuine product, sealed and well within expiry. Delivery reached Karachi the next day.
The product is genuine but did not suit me personally. Customer service handled the return without any argument.
Exactly what my doctor prescribed. The pharmacist called to confirm the strength before dispatch, which I appreciated.
