What it is used for: Hypertension.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: It is used to treat high blood pressure and high cholesterol (fat in the blood).
How it works: It contains a combination of two medicines. One is amlodipine and the other is atorvastatin. Amlodipine belongs to a group of medicines called calcium channel blockers. They work by relaxing your blood vessels, making it easier for your heart to pump blood around the body and help increase the supply of blood and oxygen to your heart. Calcium channel blockers do not change the amount of calcium in your blood or bones. Atorvastatin belongs to a group of medicines called statins. It works by reducing the amount of cholesterol made by the liver. It reduces the 'bad' cholesterol and can raise the 'good' cholesterol. Atorvastatin also helps to protect you from a heart attack or stroke .
Active ingredient: Amlodipine + Atorvastatin.
Reported side effects: Headache • flushing • dizziness • tiredness or weakness • drowsiness or sleepiness • stomach pain or nausea (feeling sick) • constipation, diarrhoea, wind • heartburn, indigestion or wind • urine infection • headache • stuffy or runny nose • nose bleeds • rash.
Known drug interactions: Cyclosporin , fibric acid derivative , erythromycin , clarithromycin , azole antifungals , niacin , oral antacid suspension containing magnesium hydroxide , aluminium hydroxide , colestipol , digoxin , norethindrone , ethinyloestradiol.
Adults : Dosage range of amlodipine/atorvastatin ; 5mg/10mg to a max dose of 10mg/80mg once daily. Children : Not recommended. OR As directed by your physician.
Follow your doctor’s instructions. The dosage above is the usual range — your prescription takes precedence over it.

The product is genuine but did not suit me personally. Customer service handled the return without any argument.
Arrived in a plain bag, nothing written on the outside. Good for something you would rather not advertise.
Fine quality, wrong choice on my part — I should have asked the pharmacist first about the strength.
Product is fine and authentic. Delivery took a day longer than the slot I picked.
