What it is used for: Vaccine.
Indications as listed by the manufacturer: It is used to prevent certain types of influenza (commonly called flu).
How it works: The vaccine works by causing the body to produce its own protection (antibodies) against four different types of influenza virus .
Active ingredient: Influenza Vaccine.
Reported side effects: Redness, swelling, a hard lump, soreness, bruising or itching around the injection site , fever, chills, headache, malaise (generally unwell) , muscle aches and pains.
Known drug interactions: Corticosteroids , cytotoxic drugs , radiotherapy.

Adults and children over 3 years of age: 0.5 ml . For children less than 9 years of age who have not previously been vaccinated, a second dose of 0.5 ml should be given after an interval of at least 4 weeks. OR As directed by your physician .
Active ingredient: Influenza Vaccine.
- Do not have this vaccine if you have had an allergic reaction to , or any ingredient listed .
- The injection may be given in the upper arm muscle.
- For some people with bleeding problems, the injection may need to be given under the skin (subcutaneously).
- It should never be given intravenously.
- Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how this vaccine affects you.
Store in a refrigerator (2°C–8°C). Do not Freeze .
